Pennies may bring PSNH $207 million

Public Service of New Hampshire says the cost of an upgrade to its coal power plant in Bow has increased by nearly 83 percent to $457 million since the Legislature mandated it in 2006. But the change will cost ratepayers a fraction of a cent per kilowatt hour, according to documents given to the state Public Utilities Commission by PSNH this week.
