Readers who shop at the Friends' Sale Room can shelve their books, dog-ear them, scribble in the margins, even do as naturalist Charles Darwin did -- tear out the pages they want to keep. Political signs may not be prohibited

Question: The CC&Rs for my association state that the only signs that owners may display on their individually owned lots are "For Sale" and "For Lease" signs.
