Emergency preparedness drill held Sunday at VeraSun Energy

Emergency personnel from throughout Floyd County responded to a mock emergency call Sunday afternoon at the VeraSun Charles City ethanol manufacturing plant near Floyd. The emergency call summoned area responders and VeraSun officials for a drill that allowed them to practice working together to heighten their efficiency and safety in the event of an actual emergency at the facility.
